You need a high tide and a low wind to really enjoy this paddle.
More InformationOf course when you`re exploring a creek it is important to get the high tide. We failed to do this but still managed to get quite a long way along. Great fun navigating through the sand banks.
More InformationI cannot say this is the best paddle we have ever done, but it did give us an idea of the lie of the land - or flow of the river. At low tide there is a lot of mud around, and the river being quite muddy, makes it hard to find a deep channel. Mangrove Creek is probably much nicer further up.
More InformationThis is a very nice paddle with plenty of nature along the way. Water Dragons on almost every stone and log.
More InformationOf course it all depends on the tide and the wind. Aim to reach the furthest point at high tide and always have the wind on your back ;-) This is a very pleasant kayak route lots of nature to look at along the way.
