you know how there's this PERCEPTION that get into on the wrong thing I'm here to prove that wrong with a story about pie

At Xmas, our kid's girlfriend's parents dropped off a purchased pie.

It was the best pie I've ever had.

I meant to take a photo so I'd know where it came from, but apparently I forgot because I can't find it. (a sentence with numerous green flags regarding an ABSENCE of adhd)

So I went to the and traced some likely routes from the parents' house leaving their town, on the theory that they picked it up on the way to our house.

"bakery" was a bad term because I got a lot of cafes and cupcakes. "pie" turned out better because it found an orchard farm stand that looked likely.

however, there's obviously no recipe available

(I am inexplicably compelled to the pie for my upcoming birthday rather than buy it, even though I know mine will be worse, probably much worse. more green flags about inventing rules, having fixed ideas, etc that are GOOD NEWS on the adhd front)

Flipping through user photos online, I found a shot of a similar pie that listed the ingredients for the crumble topping.

So then

Step 1: Determine the difference between crumble, crisp, cobbler and (as it turns out) streusel. The farm called it a crumble, it's actually a streusel

Step 2: Use the ingredient list as search terms to find a recipe that looks very similar in ingredients, relative amounts and final product appearance

Step 3: Oh yeah, maybe the pie should have some innards as well. (ignoring this is another green flag that this isn't in any way behavior)
