We have a Renson ventilation system that can only be controlled through a hideous app that hardly works. Yet again I have no control over our ventilation system bcs the login servers are out.
Anyone directions to hack away into that system so I can bypass that horrible app HomeAssistant maybe Love to hear experiences/tips (I searched the web)
Also never buy a system with app control, whatever your architect promises you. It sucks.

Took a break from my side projects this weekend and decided to a make a shippable app from my menu bar utility I've been running on my mac for years now.
I always used my Desktop folder as just that - a folder. So it gets pretty crowded quickly
To not stare at all those icons all the time, I looked for a way to hide them, but got quickly annoyed with changing the defaults value with a Terminal command. (1/2)
if you're wondering why it's been a while since the last app icon: I've been travelling and getting uninterrupted focus time has been hard...
also the tuning phase for this one has been quite long. metaphor and colours are in place, but sometimes the fiddling seems endless to get things just right.
it's a process and always worth it though. :)

The mac version of Bluestodon was rejected by TestFlight. It was missing login info. Which is quite annoying to do for an app where users provide their own tokens
