Sure you might pick up a few leeches if the weather is damp, but otherwise this is a very nice walk. There is quite a road walk at the end but you can avoid this if you have two cars at your disposal! This walk is actually about 13km if you do the full loop.

Quite a nice walk down to the shore from Ku-ring-gai national park. Okay it is pretty steep and there are not too many scenic lookouts, but there is quite a nice waterfall, a couple of small beaches and plenty of wallabies and bush turkeys.
