Snapseed evoluciona Google lanza una cmara profesional con controles manuales y filtros retro para iPhone
Tras aos siendo exclusivamente un editor de fotos, Snapseed ha dado el salto definitivo para convertirse en una aplicacin de cmara completa. La versin 3.15.0, lanzada este 18 de febrero de 2026, integra un visor de captura directamente en la app, equipado con controles manuales de nivel profesional y emulaciones de pelcula clsica en tiempo real
Hasta ahora, la Cmara Snapseed solo era accesible mediante widgets o accesos directos desde la pantalla de bloqueo de iOS. Con esta actualizacin, Google ha colocado un icono de cmara dedicado en la esquina superior derecha de la interfaz principal. Este movimiento transforma a Snapseed en una alternativa real a la app nativa de Apple, permitiendo a los fotgrafos capturar, previsualizar el estilo y editar, todo sin salir de la misma herramienta.
El nuevo Modo PRO: Control total en tus manos
Al activar el nuevo interruptor PRO en el visor, los usuarios desbloquean un panel de ajustes manuales que incluye:
- ISO y Velocidad de Obturacin: Ajustes precisos mediante un dial skeuomrfico (con aspecto de cmara analgica) para controlar la exposicin.

La gran novedad para los amantes de la esttica analgica es la inclusin de emulaciones de carretes clsicos que se aplican mientras encuadras la foto. Snapseed ha aadido estilos inspirados en leyendas de la fotografa como:
- Kodak Portra 160 y 400: Ideales para tonos de piel suaves.
- Fuji Superia y Pro 400H: Conocidos por sus tonos verdes y fidelidad cromtica.
- Polaroid 600 y Technicolor: Para un look retro instantneo o cinematogrfico.
Capturas No Destructivas: La magia del Stack
Lo ms impresionante de esta cmara es que no quema el filtro en la imagen. Cada foto tomada con la cmara de Snapseed guarda un pila de edicin (stack) completa. Esto significa que, una vez guardada la foto en tu galera, puedes entrar a editarla y cambiar o eliminar el filtro de pelcula que usaste al disparar, conservando la calidad original del sensor.
