Pavel Durov anunci el regreso de Telegram al Apple Watch con una app completamente nueva y nativa para watchOS, aos despus de discontinuar la versin anterior. Soporta mensajes de texto y voz, GIFs, videos, stickers, ubicacin y acceso a todos los contactos.
Los usuarios de Apple Watch que usan Telegram como mensajero principal tienen motivos para celebrar. Telegram lanz una nueva app nativa para Apple Watch, marcando el regreso oficial de la plataforma al ecosistema de wearables de Apple aos despus de haber discontinuado su aplicacin original para watchOS.
El anuncio lo hizo el propio CEO Pavel Durov a travs de su cuenta en X, con un mensaje simple y directo: Una app de Telegram completamente nativa para Apple Watch ya est disponible.
El conjunto de funciones disponibles es ms completo de lo que podra esperarse para una primera versin. La nueva app permite enviar y recibir mensajes de texto y de voz, compartir GIFs, reproducir videos, enviar stickers, compartir ubicacin y acceder a todas las conversaciones y contactos del usuario directamente desde el reloj.
La configuracin inicial es sencilla: tras instalar la app en el Apple Watch, el usuario deber escanear un cdigo QR desde la app de Telegram en el iPhone para sincronizar contactos y mensajes.
La nueva app de Telegram para watchOS ya est disponible para descargar en el App Store. El lanzamiento coincide adems con la semana de la WWDC26, donde Apple present watchOS 27 con una nueva Siri con IA, lo que convierte a este en un momento oportuno para que Telegram ample su presencia en la mueca de millones de usuarios iPhone.
