Long Plain Track - Mt Buffalo
This is a lovely walk through the valley to Mt Dunn taking in the Chalwell Galleries enroute. The Galleries are really good fun, not so much if you have a big belly or a big pack.

This is a very easy walk. Could be a little soggy at times. Or if you pick the wrong time of year; could be a little snowy!

This is a great walk (if you don`t mind up hill) with plenty of views along the way.

Jokers Flat is a good spot to camp and there is a nice track alongside the river. Seem to peter out after a while, but you might be able to bush-bash yourself further along.

This is a nice loop track taking in the Monolith - a big rock on top of other big rocks - great views from the top. Unfortunately it is no longer possible to mount the Monolith, but you can admire it from below.

The highest point of Mount Buffalo is 1723 metres above sea level, but who`s counting? This track will take you to the top to enjoy panoramic views of the plateau and Alpine peaks.
